The Santa Barbara Street office in Pasadena has a large astronomical
library (OCIW Online Catalog [internal use only]). A
full-time librarian, John Grula (jgrula[at]ociw.edu), is
on staff to assist research scientists and scholars in use of the
library resources. A smaller library is also available at Las Campanas
for observers. Requests for photographic permissions may also be
addressed to John Grula (jgrula[at]obs.carnegiescience.edu).
Carnegie Observatories Astrophysics Series
An important series of books published by Cambridge University Press. Four volumes published to-date (Coevolution of Black Holes and Galaxies, Measuring and Modeling the Universe, Clusters of Galaxies, and Origin and Evolution of the Elements). Click here for more information.
